Santa is busy working

It is that time of year when Santa is working very hard at making toys for all good girls and boys.

Bob hand carves his annual Santa and this year Santa is busy working at this work bench. All the work is hand carved, even his hammer and his "real" shoe laces...the detail in incredible, as always this year.
Santa is a silent auction each year and tomorrow...Dec 11th is the final day to bid. If you would like to take a Bob hand carved original home...make sure you drop by The Christmas House by 2pm...as the bidding will end at 2pm ...sharp.

While you are there, share in a cup of hot apple cider and a new array of treasures...vintage, Christmas and more...we even have our annual $1.00 Christmas Tree...anything of your choice on the tree for $1.00.

We will be open this weekend Dec 10, 11 and 12th from 10-4pm and our final weekend of the season, next weekend Dec 17, 18 and 19. Remember, we are always open by chance or appointment.
Happy Holidays to all.

"Tis the Season

Well....it is official The Christmas House is open for the season.

Our first weekend...and it was GRAND! Love seeing all the faces of wonderful friends and fans of The Christmas House. Even though the snow fell and kept me from getting more done than I wanted, it was a wonderful weekend.

Thank you to all of you that came....best news yet is that I have 15 MORE boxes to unpack, a lot more sewing and projects to do and get done for this weekend.

Please stop by, AGAIN, and see all the wonderful treasures. This weekend is also The Studio Tour and Christmas in the Country...so you can get a weekend full of wonderful handmade and beautiful creations by artisans and craftsman.

We will be open EVERY Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10-4pm, now through Christmas.
This weekend Dec 3rd, 4th and 5th...we will extend our hours till 6pm so you can get to see it all while on the Island. And of course, we are always open by chance or appointment.
Hope to see you soon.

"Tis the Night Before Preview

"Tis the night before preview and I am working around the clock. Bob and I have been traveling for the past several months to bring you wonderful treasures galore. We have driven over 3,288 miles, gone through 8 States and 3 Canadian provinces and managed to bring home 50 Boxes full of treasures. What fun we had.

Needless to say, things are not quite finished and all is not unpacked BUT we would love for you to come, visit and possibly find a treasure or two. I have crafted, priced and displayed for a month, while Bob has been busily working on his wood creations and his traditional hand carved Santa...wait till you see this years Santa....you have to see it to believe it!
